A mind that always suspicious is a healthy mind, isn't it? There are nothing false to became aware of your surrounding, especially when you are alone in an area.
1. Think twice before you ask a stranger to take a photograph for you.
Well, I think it's normal. Not all people are a good people especially when you give them chance to run with your camera when you are in a distance with them. If you still want stranger to take the photo for you, may be you can consider taking old people, fat people, or any person that you can obviously outrun them at any case. But I still recommend you to think it again.
2. Try to read some local news paper, watch some news and hear some rumors.
They are not going to give and effective view of on what kind of place you are. But at least they will help you a bit to be a consideration of how you aware must become and taking decision in some case.
3. Just bring anything that you thing is necessary.
Many things like bracelet, necklace, or even watch will take people's attention. They will also make it harder to lie that you doesn't have a money when you are already a victim of some unwanted things.
4. Bring an extra wallet with a little or even no money in it.
Just simply bring them make them looks like a normal wallet and hide your main wallet carefully. In the case that you are being robbed you can simply give that wallet and tell them that's all you have. If you are looks like a normal or poor people, the robber will simply leave you after they take that wallet.
5. Try to dress up like poor people.
Normally criminal will tent to choose people who looks like a normal or rich person as their target. Meaning you will have a lower chance to become the victim.
6. Try bringing your own box of ant.
If you can bring a little box with a few ant in it, you can give a sample of your food to them. Ant normally won't eat poisonous beverage, and if they did you can see them dead in a short time. This will help you avoid some case of poisoning.
7. If you are doubt leave it
If you are in case that you are doubt, don't bother to find out. Try your best to hide your suspicion when facing another people and simply try to leave like nothing wrong happened. Because some good people will be insulted by your suspicion and the bad people will take you out more quickly when they know that you are aware of them.
